Saffron Scroll is a product of RCS Tech LLP. This explains what we process and why.
What we process
- Your account details: name, email address and a hash of your password.
- The invoice files you upload, and the fields, checks and verdicts we produce from them.
- Records of your use: pages read, purchases and the balance of your pages.
- Billing details you choose to give, for receipts.
Why
To read your invoices and show you the result, to charge for pages, to confirm your email address, to send the emails the service needs (confirmation codes, password reset, payment and expiry notices), and to keep the service secure.
Who else sees it
Invoices are sent for reading to Gemini on Google Cloud Vertex AI, in the Mumbai region, India. Google Cloud is our sub-processor for this. We use it as a paid service, and your documents are not used to train models. Our own servers are in India. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
You choose. With immediate wipe, the file is deleted as soon as it has been read and the result is kept for a short time afterwards. With keep, file and result are kept for the number of days you set, up to a limit. You can delete a document, or everything, at any time from your account. See Your data. Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists.
